Delegate problem

  • Hey guys !
I’m new here, also I just set up a node and got a few questions about it because there are things I don’t understand.
I’d really appreciate if someone could take the time to reply :)
So, I registered for a delegate account (with 25 ARK as asked), then I set up a new node as explained in the guide and started it.
Well… as soon as it started, I got that message :
    [inf] 2017-12-18 21:53:04 | Mempool cleaned: 0 transaction(s) removed, 0 transaction(s) kept
    [inf] 2017-12-18 21:53:04 | loaded 51 active delegates of round 39
    [ERR] 2017-12-18 21:53:04 | Account 036d9539ddbe9b5eb961d3a104e62c86d75f761c430d43e424c5e3b7b2ca4855aa not found
[inf] 2017-12-18 21:53:04 | No delegate found in config file
    [inf] 2017-12-18 21:53:04 | loaded 20 forgers of round 39

What does it mean ? It says “no delegate found in config file” but I clearly registered for a delegate, and set my private pass phrase while launching the node.

And then next in logs I always see :
    [inf] 2017-12-18 21:53:06 | Blockchain not ready to receive block - {“id”:“12491826090015055183”,“height”:2901267,“lastBlockHeight”:1958,“peer”:“”}
[inf] 2017-12-18 21:53:06 | Blockchain not ready to receive block -

So is my node properly working or is there a problem ?
Thank you for reading, waiting for your replies :)

  • Hey @echoison

your node is stuck at block height 1958. You can see it in the log messages: {“id”:“12491826090015055183”,“height”:2901267,“lastBlockHeight”:1958,“

The network height is on block 2901267 while you’re on 1958. You should try to rebuild your node with option 4 in ARKcommander. You could also use to rebuild your node because sometimes the official snapshot is forked.

  • Alright, thank you :)
My problem is solved now though I didn’t do anything for it, “lastBlockHeight” increased itself and once it reached “height” it started transactions normally
